Earlier this year I was lucky enough to stay with her family for 5 days. Singapore is gorgeous and hot, humid like I’d forgotten. Humidity aside, walking through the streets of Singapore is a delight. On my first day while Victoria was working, I took my camera and walked the streets. As you walk the streets you can walk under the shelter of the Shop Houses. They are designed to keep you out of the sun, so clever.

I was looking at the space where my altar used to live, with statues of Ganesh and Lakshmi. Now days its more of a compote, a mix of small things that bring me joy and beauty. A ceramic truck from Sorrento, a vintage mirror Andrew gave me for Christmas, a small Italian angel I bought in Sorrento, a box of fragrant candles a good friend brought back from Paris.
