flower philosophy
We have so many ways to invite flowers into our lives. And honestly, why wouldn’t we want to infuse our life with them? Traditionally when we think about flowers its about giving and receiving, sometimes for ourselves. Lets get creative and think about the many ways we can infuse our life with the beauty of these magical parts of nature
let it be messy
So let your life speak, if its mess that helps do that, if its one of those days where you need to sweep through the house organising so you can think properly I hear you.
But find a little space for you, for your rituals, for thinking and dreaming. A sweet nook can be the medicine itself.
books for living & aging well
I want to be inspired about getting older. I want to read about ladies ahead of me, their sometimes whimsical ideas, poems that cherish this getting older business.
Pocket Devotions
Each months release will include a photograph I’ve taken, that I feel inspired by accompanied by an inspiring theme, prompt or meditation. For example a sweet curve in a doorway makes me think of softening when life throws curveballs, a pink home reminds me to infuse my life with colours that bring me joy (as I currently cant paint my home pink!), so get creative with what you can do!
your current constellation
Lately, I’ve been gathering a little mental (and physical) collection of the things that are speaking to me — and I thought I’d share them here, not as a checklist, but as a kind of reflection, a record of what’s resonating. A window into the life I’m quietly creating.
refresh the rituals
Let’s rework the ordinary.
Refresh what’s grown stale.
Let’s bring a breath of new air into how we begin our days.
walking through cities
Earlier this year I was lucky enough to stay with her family for 5 days. Singapore is gorgeous and hot, humid like I’d forgotten. Humidity aside, walking through the streets of Singapore is a delight. On my first day while Victoria was working, I took my camera and walked the streets. As you walk the streets you can walk under the shelter of the Shop Houses. They are designed to keep you out of the sun, so clever.
