let it be messy

To start with at least.

Let the table be full, the stockpile of books tettering, the wine red, the coffee black with a dash of milk, the perfume oil in hands reach.

Why must life be neat, tidy, every detail tended to?

We can make our way to organised through disorganisation, how can ideas come to fruition if we are needlessly organising our way through our days.

And lets face it, our days are numbered. The Yogi’s believe we come with a set number of breaths, we here go by days, but we dont know when our times up.

So let your life speak, if its mess that helps do that, if its one of those days where you need to sweep through the house organising so you can think properly I hear you.

But find a little space for you, for your rituals, for thinking and dreaming. A sweet nook can be the medicine itself.

Today, I poured a sweet glass of red (its $13 & its divine!!!! link here), I put Olivia Dean on for the 100th time and sat with some watercolours and tried to repaint some candles I painted at work this week to join a guest in her celebration of Diwali.

It was fun. I didnt produce anything outwardly, but inside, there’s joy.

Go for it, make a mess, pour a wine or brew a pot of tea and let your nook feed your soul. Dither, putter, create a lil bit of joy.
